Les Whittle, Wally Knight and Vic Boatwood opened their first real estate agency in 1966. Establishing an office in the suburbs was radical, and the agency developed a reputation for innovation in real estate marketing.

We were the first local real estate agency to use aerial photography, and the first to auction sections in Queenstown. We’ve been market leaders from our inception, and that tradition continues today with our use of the internet to market properties to buyers in Canterbury and around the world.

Today the 2nd generation, Ian and Gill Knight manage the agency, having joined their father in the business in the 1970s. Right from the start, we have provided both real estate sales and property management services. Both aspects of our business have grown and evolved. We recognise that people are more mobile than ever, moving house more often than in the past, and while the frequency of house sales has increased what hasn’t changed is that houses are still people’s biggest assets.
